Thu Jan 21, 2010 8:54 am In fact it is a genetic predisposition (the role of genetics is now proven), which can then be influenced by environmental factors such as eg climate, diet, virus, how we feel and/or other... and I would say all auto-immune diseases are having this complex cocktail.
