| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I would also find out what software your users are using to upload the files - it is possible there is a setting in it that you can tell them to set, so that slashes will get translated to something else when the files are uploaded. (Fetch has such an option, the Encode and decode files and folder names" checkbox in the Miscellaneous preferences pane.)
