  • If you are concerned with getting better faster, I would suggest taking those other three to four days and doing some sort of cross-training. (i.e. swimming, cycling, rowing) This will help you to get to the cardiologic level you want to get to quicker without wearing out your muscles and will help keep you from getting overuse injuries.
