If I can recall Supergirl's entrance into Earth's culture it was similar to her cousin so if Lex had traveled back in time to the moment prior to her becoming known then nobody, including Superman, would even know she had been captured by Lex Luthor to begin with. lol Of course this is only 1 possible scenario & I have not yet read the other forum via the link.
