  • I believe OH MR PORTER was the only Hay film in distribution here (thru Janus Films), usually double-billed with Jack Hulbert???s BULLDOG JACK. There WAS interest in these films, touted as British equivalents of Fields and Lloyd, but few among the audience when I attended found either film outstanding or especially engaging.
