  • nt. a guy i was working with yesterday was expounding on the benefits of higher oil prices. he was quite pleased that higher prices would cause people to change their driving practices. he is not wrong about that. when i pointed out to him that the higher prices would also translate into inflation of all other prices, including food, clothing, etc. his response was that it didn't hurt Europe. app
