when i did mine i removed the egr cooler and cut fittings off of the egr cooler had a pipe bent and welded coolant fittings from egr cooler to tube. depending on the year there is a scoop in the up pipe that must be cut out. then cut the flanges from the egr cooler and weld them shut. bolt them to the intake and the up pipe. then i welded a plug in the intake where the egr valve went. have had it
