  • IMHO, the evidential argument from evil is more an argument that the world seems to run on its own and is indifferent to us, which is really more of an argument along the lines of Laplace???s ???I have no need of that hypothesis.??? In that case, one might as well argue straight up that God is an unnecessary hypothesis, and avoid making statements that suggest that one thinks one can have a God???
