  • Sorry this story is a few decades less old :-) but when I made the first ever Armenian fonts for video titling in the late 80s (deployed via Broadcast Titler on the Amiga) the Horizon TV editor guy was very skeptical at first, saying we should instead send in my bitmaps to the Chyron company for burning on a special chip or something at a cost of a few thousand dollars...
