  • We have successfully gotten patients off insulin for many years, even if it doesn???t work in all patients. (It is true that some patients have had to go back on insulin after several years.) There is a patient out there from 1996 (from the first series I worked with in Geneva with 13 patients) who is still off insulin more than 12 years later.
