  • In general, I think what we have here is a case of either very sloppy work on the part of the Superfreakonomics authors, or a blatant attempt to sell books via stirring up controversy. (Which is in itself contrary to the conventional wisdom of succeeding by making the book???s content as accurate and enlightening as possible.)
