  • Sure the lens can limit too, especially in the corners so it is not an 100% exact method, but does not need to be and I think it is way better than the fixed size 25 um CoC.With this method focusing at hyperfocal distance actually becomes usable too (which has got its poor reputation partly due to inadequate DoF definition).
