  • seeing as i work with the hummingbirds, 17s, 5s and other cargo... i would have to say a number of things..first, it looks like the herc was taxing in, if it was on the landing, a LOT of damage would have ensued... no way it could have stopped that quick... look at the length and depth or the ruts... probably hit a soft spot and sunk.i hate 17s, they are much more reliable than the c5s but loading the
