  • Solar energy has lots of shortwave, and so penetrates the ocean up to 300 meters. a 1 watt/m2 rms increase in solar would take 36 years to increase 300 meters of ocean 1 degree???. so yeah, that could set in motion all kinds of things that may not show up for decades or centuries.
