  • Natural processes such as ENSO are recognized in their models only to the extent that they can be treated as epiphenomena of heat transfer caused by radiation. (I don???t think Mr. Tisdale has gone as far as me, so this is my claim.) Modelers are weighed down and blinded by their a priori assumptions that are necessary to preserve their radiation only models.
