  • Anyhoo, what occurred to me while reading that is that you KNOW intellectual property is a valid concept because those who own it take ACTION TO PROTECT IT. You may not like the action, but it is there. -- And you have certainly no obvious claim on someone else's intellectual property, so we establish that a) it is not yours, and b) the owners WILL protect it.
