  • how much light is in the scene and then YOU tell the camera what settings you want to shoot at. letting the camera suggest settings is counterproductive to really learning how to shoot in manual mode.i would suggest shooting in Tv (shutter priority) or Av (aperture priority) to help you build on your understanding of how different settings will affect the look (not exposure) of your images. these
