  • The best explanation I have seen for this is that Human DNA matches a PART of the Engineers DNA. The Engineer DNA also includes DNA for the many other forms of life that evolved on earth (and presumably in other places) So yes you could say Human DNA matched engineer DNA, but the reverse would only be partially true
