  • There will be screams about little old ladies who have worked all their lives to pay for their property suddenly being hit with huge taxes, people being taxed on property they have bought from taxed income (double taxation)....yes, I know it is land not property but the distinction is a fine one and it would inevitably be seen as a property tax.
