  • I am not sure how the 3 Wm-2 figure came into in my notes.Here is a clarification from my professor today:According to the reconstructions, the difference in solar irradiance from the MWP max to the LIA min is about 0.5 or 0.6 W/m2 (reading from the figure, there are several different estimates presented by IPCC).
