  • [br]personally i do not think Burke is interested in Briere at all, and if he is i would be pissed off. why would he want a 34 year old center? especially one that comes with a cap hit of 6.5M until the end of the 2014-15 season? unless he is chasing the Cup this year (which he isn't) then this trade makes no sense, especially for the potential cost of some very valuable young talent.
