  • But when I really saw what the profession was about, I could not get away fast enough. (Too bad I didn't get away before investing $100,000 in a useless degree.)As for the debate whether law is a business or something else (not sure what that something is supposed to be - maybe a democratic institution or something?), we can not blame individuals for seeing the legal profession as merely a business.
