| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - we, in this culture, have a shared delusion about what birth is. we are taught that birth is a medical event, not a sexual one. and because we are taught it is a medical event, akin to appendectomy, we assume that the doctors will do whatever is necessary to ???save the life of the mother and child???. and that the ???saving of lives??? is the primary goal during birth for everyone.
