  • My point was that SOA is a style applied to what what CBA. EDA is a style that can (and is) applied to SOA, but someone in marketecture will inevitably declare SOA obsolete replaced by the next big thing, EDA. BTW, using events does not make you EDA anymore than services make you SOA. You have to start modeling things as events and responses (or transitions) instead of requests and responses.
