| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I can see where you are coming from.There are numerous forms of links that may have undesirable negatives on the performance of a page/site.But we simply have to accept that G handles them how G wants ... and havea bit of faith (and I admit to lacking that in most cases) that G will figure/spot such links, and handle them differently to normal links.it is G that needs to update/change - not us.
