| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - We agree that orphaned works are an issue, but it is not necessarily primarily a copyright issue (though I would agree that the best solution to the problem is a modification of copyright law), it is more of a *contract* issue (as is the case you mention of artist retrieving their songs from record companies).
