There are a lot of problems with your going against tgrain of current thinking -- I mean when Any Woman???s Blues came out, which is a novel about a successful middle-aged woman and her passion for an indifferent, sadistic younger man, I knew that a lot of women would respond to it personally, but it apparently went against the grain of the way women wanted to think about themselves.
