| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I get your frustration, but i think the backlash came from the fact that you usually do get very personal and detailed with the many great reviews you have done (see your Heavy Rain).Check the comments on that review in which you got personal and detailed to see why personal experiences can move a reader to action i.e. buying or understanding.
