Madden on 19 Nov 1853 in Campbell County, they had three children all of whom, including Sarah, are buried in Gross Cemetery in Smith County, TN. (You may view their memorials on Findagrave.com) Sarah filed for pension in May of 1886 as a widow back in TN. I am led to believe thru the records I have reviewed that the military moved them to Ky.
