| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all leases and contracts of the office of a transferred sheriff which are in force on the effective date of this act shall be obligations of the commonwealth and the commonwealth may exercise all rights and enjoy all interests conferred upon the county by those leases and contracts except as may be otherwise provided in this act.
