DougtheDug January 4, 2014 ??? 12:28 Since devolution in Scotland was effectively just a transfer of the powers and responsibilities of the Scottish Office to a new Scottish Parliament it???s not surprising that the remits of other UK Government departments who dealt with areas such as defence and energy didn???t get transferred over at the time.
