I am not an nfl defensive coordinator, but I would guess that DCs spend quite a lot of time designing and teaching pass coverages and blitz schemes, rather than saying Eff it, 8-man blitz till we kill the SOB. Everyone else cover 0! and heading off to the bar mid-morning Tuesday.
