  • Richard Boyce of the Parish of St. Olave Hart Street was a citizen and draper of the city of London by 1660.[4] In September 1672 a Richard Boyce was a member of the New Royal African Company, London, and other members and investors were Abraham Holditch, Thomas Nicholls and John Ashby.[5] Abraham Houlditch, son of Captain Abraham Houlditch was a draper of London as early as 1696[6].
