| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - It appears that part of my problem is a lack of access to native printed materials, as it sounds like such usage of . and , next to (or above) kana/kanji (and similar usage in Chinese) are basically non-existent in the digital world due to lack of support in the HTML specifications and in word processing programs etc, but fairly common in print form.
