| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - My initial reactions are two-fold: 1) Publications should not exist solely for advancement purposes, and 2) People other than tenure/hiring committees, for whom law publications should hopefully be helpful, do not have perfect information about the law review placement process, and so probably can not make the 'discount' that you are suggesting.
