| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - The comet was an easy object for the unaided eye, about two degrees to the southwest of the Pleiades, and with 15 power 50 mm binoculars the inner coma and nucleus were visible and the overall green colour of the coma obvious. (The colour is due to cyanogen (CN) and diatomic carbon (C2) in the coma, both of which fluoresce in the green when illuminated by sunlight.)
