| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I have used this method myself on XML files in excess of 800MB and it runs quite fast (much faster then your reported Notepad numbers), so 64MB is hardly gigantic And if performance is an issue, perhaps regular expression is not the way to go depending on what you actually need to do.
