Provided also, That any Sheriff who shall be in Office on the aforesaid First Day of March, and shall be willing to give such Security as aforesaid, and cannot procure the same, and shall make Oath thereof in Manner hereinbefore mentioned, that then such Sheriff shall not be Subject to the said Penalty; any Thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
