| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - Because they were so great and influencial, bands just wanted to copy that style, which boxed in the future musical direction of Punk and meant that the more original sounding bands such as Pere Ubu, Devo, Magazine, Television, Ultravox etc. etc. etc. (too many bands to mention them all) became sidelined and were dismissed, which is a fookin shame I reckon.???
