| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - The reason vehicles have signal and break lights is so people will use them.They are far more visible then hand signals.I am also not sure how many people actually know what the correct signals are and what they mean.There are also safety concerns in sticking your hand out the window but I think using signals and break lights is the best option.
