| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I think a better comparison is the US military. 40 years ago, when the military did nearly everything ???in house??? the cost of a standing army and infrastructure were a fraction of what it is now, with nearly everything (including the shooting and dying) sub-contracted out.
