  • GET values are a part of the URL, and URLs are often cached by browsers or even nodes along the route between the server and client, whereas entire POST requests may not be. - I mean, you would not want a URL containing your bank account's pin number, or something along those lines, to be stored in your browser's history, or in some random ISP router cache between you and your bank.
