| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I was working on laser modulators, and in those days, in fact, the first product we came out with I believe was the Model 320, electro-optic modulator, and it used KD*P, potassium deterium phosphate, for crystals, to allow the laser beam to be switched on and off at quite high speeds by means of an electric field, sort of a voltage applied to the terminals of the modulator.
