| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - (d) The term horsepower, as used in this Act, shall mean the mechanical unit of power equal to five hundred fifty (550 ft. lb.) foot-pounds per second, and shall apply to the normal horsepower rating of the engine, motor, turbine, or other prime mover, at full load, as stamped on the name plate attached to the prime mover.
