| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - (2) When membership ceases for any reason other than death or retirement, the service credited to the member shall be cancelled and, should the police officer again become a member, he shall enter the System as a police officer not entitled to credit for previous service, unless he repays his accumulated contributions previously withdrawn as provided in subsection (3) of this section.
