Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:57 am Teachers, it seems to me, are helpful due to their ability to use idiom, metaphor, and other linguistic tools in a modern way, updating these mental models for use by a students mind which is chronologically distant from the original language.Papanca is a good example for what I mean here.
