| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - As I stated in other posts, the degree of permineralization in a bone or shell is completely irrelevant to whether or not we think of it as a ???fossil'(the process of permineralization is a continuum, sure, but it does *not* ever result in a yes or no as to whether something is or isn???t a fossil) and is actually irrelevant to most of the questions we try to answer *using* fossils.
