| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - seems to me this question is analogous to our understanding of why abortion is a sin... we do not depend on nor feel a need to calculate the self awareness of the fetus in order to establish the value of a human being... in the same manner we do not depend solely on the cognition or ability to respond with reason of a person as a criteria for baptism.
