| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - They are not bad authors, and keeping a reader entertained is surely a skill, but there is a feeling you get when you read something really brilliant, a kind of a thrill at what the writer managed to evoke, that just does not happen with airplane / beach reading, in my (admittedly limited - sci fi, anne rice in HS, and some historical detective novels my dad gave me) experience.posted by mdn at 6:47
