| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - Now the old fallacy of post hoc ergo propter hoc is indeed a fallacy, but going in the reverse direction, you cannot possibly maintain that when Y followed X, and X was of such a nature as to potentially influence Y, that well I do not think X had anything to do with Y even though I do not have a clue why Y happened.
